life has repititions..... it cycles
backround: brussels is the capitol of belgium and it's officail languages are french and english which means if you own a store in brussels your supposed to speak both to occomodat flemmish (dutch speaking) and Waloons (french speaking) customers.
today I got a sandwhich. the man behind the counter started speaking to me first in french but he soon realized that I didn't speak much... then he tried english. "Can I help you?" considering he didn't know the menu in English I told him what I wanted in dutch all the way down to the pineapple. When it came to asking him how much the sandwhich cost he got confused and we resorted back to english. In the end he said Merci and I went on my way.
